Emergency Management and Communications
College Emergency Management maintains a proactive approach to awareness, programs and partnership. For more information on campus preparedness and active alerts, please visit the Olympic College Emergency Management webpage.
Closures
If a decision is made to change or suspend operations at one or all campuses, a notification is posted across multiple channels by 5:30 a.m. on the day of the impact.

A banner message is displayed on the Olympic College website homepage regarding any changes in college operations.
Text Messaging
Sign up for text messaging alerts on your cell phone at the Olympic College Campus Alerts webpage.
Social Media
Messages are posted to the Olympic College Facebook and Instagram pages.
Media
Watch/listen for messages on all local media outlets.
As in all emergencies or unusual situations, class attendance is a decision that should be based on personal safety and individual discretion.
Campus Security Emergency Dispatch
Campus Safety & Security is available 24/7. For assistance at any of our three campuses- Bremerton, Poulsbo, or Shelton- please call (360) 475-7800. This number connects you directly to the Bremerton dispatch center, which coordinates security response for all campus locations.
Emergency Procedures
Olympic College has a variety of Emergency Procedures in place. Please review and familiarize yourself with them to ensure a prompt and effective response during any emergency situation.
