Natural Science Introduction to NMR, mass spectroscopy and free radical mechanisms. The structure, synthesis and reactions of alcohols, ethers, conjugated unsaturated systems, aromatics, aldehydes, and ketones.

Prerequisite: CHEM& 241  with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
