Interactive Web Design Essentials (CC)

This two to three quarter certificate of completion can enable students to gain core front-end web site development skills which help to make them employable in interactive web design positions.

Program Learning Outcomes

1. Explain and demonstrate core web site development, including creation, web page scripting, and maintenance concepts.
2. Construct well-designed, interactive World Wide Web client pages, which conform to HTML5 standards.
3. Explain and demonstrate basic file transfer from a local development computer to an Internet web server.
4. Explain the Hypertext Transfer Protocol and Uniform Resource Locator concepts.
5. Explain client/server concepts.
6. Explain the use of and integrate digital media on a web page.
7. Construct web pages using User Experience Design best practices.
