COS 103 - Hair Care, Hairstyling & Haircutting

Introduction to haircare services, treatments for scalp care, the effects of growth patterns, density, and texture. Students will learn the technical aspects of haircutting using elevation, angles, and over direction, along with proper shear, razor, and clipper usage. The foundations of hairstyling to include consultation, hair types, styling aids, creating/pinning and updo basics.
