COS 171 - Esthetic Skin Care I

Instruction in Skin Analysis, Skin Care Products including Chemistry, Ingredients and Selection, Treatment Room preparation, Facial treatments, and beginning Hair Removal. Weekly product research focusing on professional products. Students will earn Dermalogica Clean Touch Certification, and complete the d.n.a. courses to become Dermalogica Certified.

Prerequisite: instructor permission – corequisite of COS 160, 161, and 181
