MEDA 141 - Medical Receptionist Externship

Students are placed in approved medical facilities for a supervised, unpaid front Office experience as final preparation for working as a Medical Receptionist.

Prerequisite: Medical Receptionist students must have completed at least half of the certificate curriculum. Permission of the instructor is necessary. Students must complete an application packet, including a background check prior to enrollment. A positive background check may prohibit placement in a healthcare facility for the externship.
