An introduction to communication concepts related to the nurse/client relationship, with an emphasis on theories of communication, principles of interviewing, role and responsibility in nursing informatics, and techniques for communicating with diverse clients, populations, and interdisciplinary team members.

Prerequisite: Continued enrollment in Associate in Technical Arts (RN) pathway.
