SOC 230 - Sexuality and Gender Credits: 5
(SS/DSJ) This course provides an introduction to the theoretical and empirical literature on the sociology of sex and gender. The readings cover theory and methods, feminism, masculinity, intersectionality, international/comparative perspectives, gender roles, and recent sociological research in this area.
Prerequisite: Accuplacer placement in ENGL& 101 strongly recommended. 5 hours Lecture
