MATH 099 - Intermediate Algebra

Second course in the sequence of Elementary Algebra and Intermediate Algebra.Understanding functions and function notation; graphing linear and quadratic functions; systems of equations; rational and radical expressions; solving a variety of non-linear equations such as quadratic, rational, and radical equations; rational exponents. A scientific calculator is required.

Prerequisite: MATH 094 within the last six years with a 2.0 or above or satisfactory placement test score.
