FILM 202 - Documentary Filmmaking III

In this hands-on course students will immerse themselves in the post-production and distribution phases, applying circular workflow to construct the story of their documentary film project. Students will apply act structure as needed in the documentary form to effectively and emotionally tell their story. Students will use visual effects and find their unique style while assembling their film. Students apply music and sound design to their documentary film project, complete their finished film with sound mixing and color correction. Once the student’s documentary film project is completed, they will explore the various options for distribution of their film in the current industry.
