A college-level introduction to effective written composition for academic, vocational, and occupational students, with emphasis on exposition. Formerly ENGL 101
Prerequisite: Appropriate placement test score, or IE 045/046/047 (level 4) with a 3.0 or better, or IE 100/101/102 (level 5) with a 2.0 or better, or ENGL 091 with a 3.3 or better, or ENGL 099 with grade of 2.00 or better, or English 101 instructor permission.
