Humanities/Social Science Introduces student to an anthropological perspective on disease, illness, and health. Examines cultural explanations of and responses to disease and illness, Different cultural approaches to treatment and curing, and factors that influences the distribution of disease, illness and wealth within and between cultures.
Prerequisite: ANTH& 206 or ADN degree recommended. 5 hours Lecture
