CS 110 - Introduction to Computing and Computer Ethics Credits: 5
(NS/DSJ) An exploration of the fundamentals of computer science. In this course students will gain practical programming skills: converting natural language problems into formal algorithms and computer programs, developing debug strategies, and verifying solutions meet requirements. We will also consider the foundations of computer ethics, particularly the impact of software and information technology on our global society, communities, and individuals.
Prerequisite: MATH 099 or MATHI 099 (Intermediate Algebra) with a 2.0 or better 5 hours lecture
