FILM 450 - Production Workshop II Credits: 10
In this advanced course students, working individually or in groups, will immerse themselves in the pre-production and production stages of making a thesis project. This class will provide innovative hands-on experience and practical real-world application with outlining key role deliverables, location scouting, budgeting, casting and crewing up, creative financing, principal photography, coverage versus creativity, and other production-related issues. This course operates in a dynamic, flexible and often self-paced working environment, whereby students will address real-world challenges associated with finalizing pre-production, commencing and completing principal photography for a thesis project.
Prerequisite: BAS in Digital Filmmaking Program Acceptance or Instructor Approval is required to register for this course. Completion of FILM 440 is required to take this course. 10 hours Lecture
