Humanities Novice mid/low level proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in modern Korean, based on ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages). Targeting students with no background in Korean, the course starts with Korean orthography and introduces basic functions and notions through highly productive formulaic phrases. It also introduces the history, geography, and various cultural practices of Korea.
