ENGL 099 - Reading/Writing Academic Disciplines

Credits: 1-6

This course develops students’ critical strategies for reading, writing, problem solving, and handling academic life. As an acceleration class with additional lab time, ENGL 099 offers students the opportunity to earn both ENGL 099 and ENGL& 101 credit in one quarter.

Prerequisite: Assessment test score, or ENGL 091 with grade of 2.00 or better, or ENGL 092 with grade of 2.00 or better, or instructor permission.
