FILM 290 - Editing with DaVinci Resolve

This step-by-step course prepares students for the certification test in the latest version of the DaVinci Resolve non-linear editing software. Students will explore hands-on, high-speed editing on the revolutionary new Cut page, which is designed for fast turnaround work, use the traditional Edit page for more sophisticated projects, along with the DaVinci Resolve’s legendary color correction, fusion VFX and fairlight audio tools. Perfect for both new editors and anyone switching to DaVinci Resolve, this course teaches students how to import and organize media, edit and trim video, add transitions, effects, titles and more.

Prerequisite: Students must have a good working knowledge of computers, operating systems, using a mouse, keyboard, standard menus and commands. Students must be able to open, save and close applications and files, as well as navigate to other folders.
