(PSNS) This course will introduce students to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, including organizational guiding principles, safety programs, navigation aboard Navy vessels, fundamental ship terminology and paperwork, and tools of the trade. It will also delineate the pathways to successful entrance into the apprentice program.
