Associate of Science (AS-Track 2)
Physicists observe and analyze various forms of energy, the structure of matter and the relationship between matter and energy. Their studies have continued to broaden our understanding of the physical world and have enabled us to make increasing use of natural resources. Physicists have contributed to scientific progress in recent years in areas such as nuclear energy, electronics, communications, and aerospace.
Students wanting to transfer to a baccalaureate institution should complete the Associate of Science (Track 2) requirements and should plan on taking one year of general chemistry, one year of engineering physics, one year of calculus and three-quarters of 200 level mathematics. Students should work closely with an advisor at the baccalaureate institution they plan to transfer to before analyzing their education plan.
