The Home Visitor/Family Engagement certificate provides necessary skills to plan and provide home visits and group activities that promote secure parent-child relationships and support families to provide high-quality early learning experiences that are embedded in everyday routines and experiences. This certificate includes the following courses:

Articulate a plan that creates reciprocal, culturally sensitive partnerships with families.
Plan an effective home visit that includes awareness of family and home visitor safety.
Create a plan for effective communication with families to develop shared goals and understanding of school readiness skills.
Demonstrate Reflective Practice techniques and develop an action plan for implementation and evaluation.
Construct a plan grounded in research based curriculum that delivers developmentally, linguistically, and culturally home visits and group socialization activities that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth for later success in school.
