FILM 460 - Production Workshop III Credits: 5
In this advanced course students, working individually or in groups, will immerse themselves in the post-production phase of making a thesis project. This class will provide innovative hands-on experience and practical real-world application with outlining key role deliverables, organizing reshoots, editing a thesis project, editing a trailer, performing color correction, and sound editing, design and mixing, producing professional-level deliverables, providing insightful and usable feedback, and other post-production-related duties and issues. This course operates in a dynamic, flexible and often self-paced working environment, whereby students will address real-world challenges associated with finalizing production, and commencing and completing post-production for a thesis project.
Prerequisite: BAS in Filmmaking Program acceptance or instructor approval is required to register for this course. Completion of FILM 450 is also required. 5 hours Lecture
