This course introduces students to the fundamentals of generative artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on its impact on writing and academic work. Students will learn key terms and concepts related to generative AI, explore how AI-generated content can limit originality and creativity, and develop practical techniques to reclaim and enhance creative expression. The course also examines ethical considerations and appropriate uses of AI in academic settings, particularly at Olympic College.
