During the 2025-2026 academic year, the following credit changes have been made to individual courses in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (VLBSN pathway).
These changes were made to align outcomes with accredidation standards.
For Winter 2026
VLBSN 176 - Nursing Care of the Pediatric Client - credit increase from 3 to 4
VLBSN 178 - Reproductive & Sexual Health - credit increase from 3 to 4
For Spring 2026
VLBSN 172 - Mental Health Nursing - credit increase from 3 to 4
The total number of credits for the program is not changing. Other credit adjustments to individual program courses will be made effective Fall 2026 and will be reflected in program information for the 2026-2027 catalog year.
