TSESL 001 - ESOL Foundations

This course is designed for beginning ESOL learners who want to build essential reading, writing, speaking, listening, and numeracy skills. Students will learn to recognize and write the alphabet, sounds associated with each letter, and read common sight words. Basic numeracy skills will be introduced. This course will help learners develop confidence in foundational literacy and numeracy to support daily life, work, and further education.

Prerequisite: Placement into level upon completion of required ESOL Orientation (TSESL009) or by instructor permission.
