Introduction to nursing concepts: microbiology, HIV, geriatric care, growth/development across the lifespan, wellness-illness continuum, and primary, secondary, and tertiary levels of prevention interventions.

Prerequisite: Admission into the Practical Nursing Program and concurrent enrollment in, or completion of, PNURS 102, PNURS 103, PNURS 104, PNURS 105, PNURS 110, PNURS 112, and PNURS 122 with a grade point of 2.0 (75) or higher. Completion of NURSE 152 with a grade point of 3.7 (94) or higher.
