An intensive academic English course designed for students with low to mid-level intermediate listening/speaking and grammar/vocabulary skills. The course utilizes an ELL textbook along with supplementary materials and emphasizes active listening and speaking skills, along with guided and unguided note-taking skills, as students plan, prepare and present information related to more complex academic topics.

Prerequisite: IE 025, or ESL placement score or instructor permission.
