FILM 292 - Field Production

Students will create high-quality, short film content to support messaging needs for OC entities and/or local organizations, preparing students for the real world experience of working with clients. This course introduces students to industry-standard timelines and workflows as they create media projects. Students will gain actionable experience developing a pitch, preparing a creative deck, and organizing a measurable pre-production plan. Working through crew roles, this class will benefit new and seasoned student filmmakers as they learn, apply, and practice producing actual media content. Ultimately, this course will prepare students for the process of how to pitch and deliver a successful media project.
