Direct care experience of the hospitalized medical/surgical patient, emphasizing clinical reasoning and judgment, use the Nursing Process, application of client care concepts and skills.

Prerequisite: Admission to Practical Nursing Program. Completion of PNURS 102, PNURS 103, PNURS 104, PNURS 105, NURSE 152, PNURS 110, PNURS 112, PNURS 114, PNURS 122 with a grade of 2.0 (75) or above, and NURSE 152 with a grade of 3.7 (94) or above. Concurrent enrollment in or completion of PNURS 106, PNURS 116, and NURSE 118.
